Hello...well you didn't say what you were feeding your ferret so that is a hard one to answer...please email me at samls@theriver.com We feed ours 8 & 1 Ultimate Ferret Food. Has the ferret been to the vets lately? Just email me back and we will try to see what is going on and how to "fix" it :-) Joanne
