Do you actually run a ferret shelter still? Have you ever actually run one in the terms most people expect? Because I have used all forms of your contact information with no answer including this message board which has been abandoned from the start. I have offered supplies, donations of money, volunteer assistance, web work, etc. and have been ignored. The operator of a ferret shelter near Tombstone told me that your shelter is more like a clique of friends who snap up desirable ferrets that come in and leave the ill and geriatric ones up for general adoption. What is your response to that? I think if you are not prepared to fulfill the responsibilities to the public with this so-called shelter, you should come clean and remove yourself from shelter list in places like ferret.org and Modern Ferret Magazine. Otherwise places like Petco will continue to keep your info and depend on contacting you to pick up surrendered ferrets or returns which can't be resold. You are doing to a huge disservice to the ferret community operating--or should I say not operating--with its best interest at heart.
