Hello, my name is Heather. For the past few months I've been researching the web about owning a ferret and all the responsibilities, ect. Well I am proud to say that I am well informed about ferrets now. For the longest time I had trouble locating a breeder and all. So I gave up on getting one of these furry little clowns. Several months passed by and as luck would have it I ran into some good friends of mine that I've not seen on a long time. I went to their house , low and behold they have the sweetest, cutest, more precious jill I've ever seen!! She let me hold her and play with her right off the bat. I was really surprised because she didn't know me and she wasn't afraid of me. Anyways I expressed my interest in wanting to find a ferret. Well they informed me that due to their work schedules they are looking to find a new home for their jill because they don't have the time she requires and they don't feel it's right to her. Nevertheless to make a long story short they asked me if I wanted her. I was so excited!! I couldn't wait to tell my husband. We haven't brought her home yet because we're ferret proofing the house. Luckily they have almost everything you need to have a ferret so our supply list is small because everything comes with her. Now here's my question ....I am interested in showing my girl once I get her home and settled in to her new family. I live in Indiana and I'm having trouble finding ferret show info about Indiana. If anyone reading this has any information please e-mail me. I would greatly appreciate any information you could give me. Oh and if you have any information you think i might need with being a first time ferret mom please feel free to send me your advice. I'm open to all suggestions on how to have a happier, healthier ferret. thank you Heather
